A partnership between Bumi Sehat and Wadah Foundation created birthing-related maternal & infant health services to coastal areas of the Philippines hardest hit by recent typhoons. Disaster relief work was in partnership with local midwives, the Philippine Armed Forces, and other NGO’s to provide comprehensive services to mamababy and families. Services include birth, pre and postpartum care, general check ups, nutrition, hygiene kits, and basic humanitarian services supporting community wellbeing. Bumi Wadah’s mobile clinic provides these services to remote villages who would not otherwise be served. They plan to open two new birth centers in other locations in the next year.
